A fine RTS, one the best I have played in a long while.

Men of War: Assault Squad offers a rich and varied multiplayer component, as well as various improvements in terms of graphics and artificial intelligence. A must buy for fans of the series.

Take a deep breath after losing a small skirmish against another player or the AI and rethink your strategy, throwing in more and more units into the meat grinder isn’t going to win you the day. Outsmart your enemy!

Men of War: Assault Squad is one of the most engaging and tactically vast RTS experiences currently available. The AI can be a little daft, and some will find it too in-depth. But play it with like-minded friends in multiplayer, and it comes closer to RTS excellence than the vast majority of its competitors.

One of the best options nowadays, whether this is the first time you approach a game like this or you are already a veteran of the genre.

At its best, Men Of War: Assault Squad provides hours of tactical chin-stroking, some stonkingly memorable engagements, and a whole kit-bag of replayability, especially in co-op.

Men of War: Assault Squad is surprisingly complete RTS game. While it is an expansion, it offers more depth, challenge and entertainment than quite some full-fledged strategy titles out there.

From what we've seen and heard, Assault Squad really will take Men of War to "the next level", as Kramer says. There's little that hasn't been improved or overhauled or tweaked, and we imagine great things for this series if they can keep this up

Kramer: Regarding the new skirmishes, they will be unlike any of the ones currently included in the game. They use the same basic concept but their mission objectives, units etc. will vary a lot from the ones you saw in the game so far.

To recap, multiplayer = awesome, singleplayer = sweet with a tank, graphics = great, and the gameplay is smooth and easy to get sucked into. One recommendation. Go buy this game!

The old soldier shows his gregarious side. This is gruelling but great WWII action, spanning every theatre.

It's old style strategy, unforgiving, hard to learn and harder to master. If this is your kind of stuff, you'll love it.
